"Another chance". Two subtle words that seem to beg for time, hope and understanding - but in reality is an affirmation of strength, wisdom and the desire to get things better and in order.
I am giving myself another chance. Another chance to dream, to live, to love and to touch people that need another chance as well. For the last eight (8) months since the start of this year, I have been in recluse trying to figure out what I have done in the first half of my life. And what is in store for the next 30 or so years... Have I wasted my work, my life and my relationships and would the first half just mirror the second half of this life. Or should I take the lead to change all that and make the next 30 years better - even if I have to start again from dirt scratch.
I decided to have a well lived life that's why I am taking this other chance. I know that for work and experiences that have gone down the drain, I will have wisdom. For friends lost, new one's will be loved and cherished. And for money that was lavishly spent in the past, small cash earned in the future will be prized for its truest value.
This is also to chronicle a new life that is beautiful and worth thanking for. That is why I am taking this "another chance" to blog and write...
Let's all take our chances and live the life we always wanted. Once lived - time, hope and understanding will always be on our side.
